Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: September 23, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to anyone using the Service, and to any application built with it.

  1. 1. Purpose

Crediball is billing infrastructure — we don’t review or approve what you build with it, but we do need to draw a line around uses that put other developers, end users, or Crediball itself at risk.

  2. 2. You may not use the Service to

    • Bill for, distribute, or promote anything illegal, including malware, stolen data, or services that facilitate fraud.
    • Misrepresent the actions or revenue reported through the SDK/API in order to reduce the fees owed under our Terms.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or circumvent the credit-deduction or metering logic of the Service itself.
    • Send us personal data of your end users beyond what's needed to identify them for credit tracking (see our Privacy Policy) without a lawful basis to do so.
    • Violate the usage policies of any third-party AI provider your app wraps with Crediball (for example, reselling raw API access under Crediball's billing without the underlying provider's permission).
    • Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) through any Service feature, including the referral program.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated load not related to genuine application usage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another developer's account, apps, or data.
    • Use the Service to build a competing usage-based billing product by copying its non-public implementation details.
  3. 3. Compliance with law

You are responsible for ensuring your own use of the Service, and your application, complies with the laws and regulations that apply to you and your end users, including consumer protection, tax, and export-control laws.

  4. 4. Enforcement

A violation of this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of your access to the Service, at our discretion and proportionate to the severity of the violation, as described in our Terms of Service.

  5. 5. Reporting a violation

If you believe an app built with Crediball violates this policy, write to hello@crediball.ai with as much detail as you can share.
